Akon, Femi Kuti, Ice Prince, Fally Ipupa, Desmond Elliot, Mafikizolo, Angelique Kidjo, Others Join End Ebola Campaign
The ONE Campaign has brought together fourteen African artistes to pressure African leaders do more and quickly fight the Ebola epidemic in West Africa, and take action to strengthen national health systems to prevent and contain future outbreaks.
In the new video, Akon (Senegal), Fally Ipupa (DRC) , Angélique Kidjo (Benin), Danai Gurira (Zimbabwe), Ice Prince, Femi Kuti, Desmond Elliot and Praiz (Nigeria); Mafikizolo and T-bo Touch (South Africa), Victoria Kimani (Kenya),Diamond (Tanzania) and Magasco (Cameroon) are joined by a nurse who treated Ebola patients and an Ebola survivor in making this call .
The video reiterates the call by African Union Chair, H.E. Dr Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, for all African leaders to take more responsibility and act urgently by providing more trained personnel, materials, financing and international coordination to all affected countries. ONE’s campaign is focused on ensuring governments deliver their pledges and increase their response.
The video, which is completely silent, highlights how the world waited too long to act, and over 5,000 lives were lost as a result. However, we cannot wait any longer for the delivery of commitments made if this fight against Ebola is to succeed.
The video ends with a call to action for citizens to sign ONE’s petition. The petition asks world leaders to step up and provide more trained personnel, materials, financing and international coordination to help stop Ebola.

Beautiful songstress, Rita Edmond was seen on Redcarpet in this stunning yellow gown few minutes before she rocked the NaijaFm Comedy Jam Stage with her stunning performance, changing into a Beyounce -like black and white jumpsuit both made by Elarose fashion. Obviously she is one of the few artistes that came to the show with her bag of constumes.. Naija artistes don step up their game o. Unlike when you catch an artiste with same performance clothe on redcarpet, thanks to Elarose.

How do you race with horses? For the metaphor to come alive let me introduce to you ‘The I League’ led by young enterprising music business protege Oluwadamilare ‘Irish’ adesina. The Benin republic based Irish entertainment has heralded its entry into the Nigerian music industry with a plan.
Armed with a vocal powerhouse (Olaide possible G gboyega) a student of the festac rhythm school (Thomas ezeikwe Pappzy Obinna) the reincarnation of the king of indigenous rap (Abayomi Young A shorinola) the multi instrumentalist and in-house producer (Emmanuel Emnizy Agwu) and the head honcho of Irish entertainment (oluwadamilare Irish adeshina) they are here to make a statement.
Boogie down is a near perfect debut effort by any standard, the pulsating club tune with its mellow mid tempo vibe will hit your subconscious without a warning.
Like the words Oluwadamilre Irish Adeshina ” I will not loose, this is my turf, this is my life” this is a journey well worth it. Nigeria stand up .. connect with them on twiter @EminiezyBEAt. @obinnathomas. @Abayomishow. @possibleg.@IrishEnt2014 @Irishpsalmson
Chilly B a.k.a Queen of the South-South is fast rising rapper highly endowed with quality talents, curves and dope lyrics. Her first single, “Wine Am Go Down” brought her to prominence in the South South where she performed as opening act at the African biggest carnival, Calabar Festival. After that, she dropped another single, “Dekalemo” and never looked back since then.
A combination of hot body and dope lyrics, Chilly B has got it all, probably the only Naija femcy with Coca-Cola bottle shape. She is a die hard fan of Nicky Minaj who she ended up getting her first global endorsement from. Goodluck Chilly. See pic below:
